The Greatest Honor....Big Al trusted with a Family heirloom . Given by a gentleman that Enjoys Big Al's Bluegrass program and Americana Gospel he mentions he has heard Big Al on Sirius XM satellite radio, he thought within his family there would be no one that would appreciate and care for this special heirloom, ... prompting him to give Big Al a call, and a meeting of friends with a passion for music with a cup of coffee was set! Ed drove here from Montana to bring this to Big Al, and he will forever cherish the honor and trust in this gift. It is a 1950's model Mandolin and a Leather cased amplifier compliments this beautiful instrument. Big Al has a perfect place to display this new treasure and you will probably see him with it at a few shows so his listening family can also enjoy this kind gesture of faith. Big Al's programs reach the Listeners and Truckers across the western U.S. and Canada, with Big Al and Ed also being a professional truckers they have a lot in common. This is a picture of Ed at the truck stop with the mandolin to give Big Al.
