Grits and Cheese

1 c. grits
4 c. water
4 tsp salt
cook the abouve by package directions

Add:
  1 stick of butter
3 well beaten ggs
3 oz can green chilies
2 c. grated velveteta cheese
dash of tobasco sauce

Combine cooked grits and rest of ingredients.

Pour into 9x13 pyrex dish and Bake at 400 degrees until bubbly and starts to brown - about 30 minutes.

German Chocolate Cookies

1 pkg. German Choc. Cake Mix
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter onoleo, melted
1/2 c. quick oats
1c. 6 oz. semi sweet choc. chips
1/2 raisins  option: 1/2 c. nuts
Heat oven to 350*F
In a bowl combine cake mix, eggs and oats.  mix well. 
Stir in chips and rasien and nuts. 

Drop by heaping tablespoon 2" apart onto un-greased baking sheets.
Bake 9-11 minutes or till set.  Cool for 5 minutes remove to wire racks
make about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.

Time Saver Chocolate Cake

1 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
6 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. salad oil
1 tbls. vinegar
1 c. cold water

Put allin bowl in order given beat 2 minutes.
Bake In. 350 *

Combine ingredients   in 2 quart casserole or roaster
2 1/2 lb. stew meat - cut in pieces
6 carrots - in chunks
1 stick of loay - chopped
some onions - sliced  or chunked


Combie these ingredients and poor over the top to bake:
2 tbs. tapiocca
1/2 to 1 c tomoato juice
1 tbl. sugar
2 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper
potatoes in chunck- bite size


Bake at 250* for 4 hours

Cranberry Relsih

1- 16 oz bag of fresh cranberries
2 medium oranges
1 c golden raisins
1 c walnu pieces
1 3/4 c water
3/4 c white granulated sugar or (use 1 c. for seeter relish)

Wash and thinly slice oranges with the peelings on.
Rinse cranberries: drain. 
Combine sugar and water in 3 quart saucepan and brin to rolling boil over medium heat.  stirring consistenly. 
Add cranberries to sugar and water mixture:  heat on low until skins of cranberries begin to crack:  stir occasionally.
Add orange slices, simmer 3 minutes, stir occasionally.
Add raisins: simmer until raisins start to plump, stir occasionally.
Add walnut peices and remove form heat.
Allow to cool: refrigerate in sealed container until ready to serve.  serves 6
